Adding Ads.txt of Google AdSense to Shopify

1. Access Google AdSense

Open your Google AdSense account.
Click on "Sites" from the menu.
Select your Shopify store URL where you want to add AdSense.

2. Get the Ad Text Snippet

Click the website url, copy the Ad Text Snippet provided by Google.

3. Save Ad Text File

Open Notepad or any text editor.
Paste the Ad Text Snippet.
Save the file (e.g., GoogleAds.txt) for easy identification.

4. Upload File to Shopify

Go to your Shopify dashboard.
Navigate to Content → Files.
Click Upload Files and select the GoogleAds.txt file.
Once uploaded, copy the link to the file.

5. Verify the File on Shopify

Open the copied link in your browser.
Ensure that it displays the Google Ad Text correctly.

6. Set Up URL Redirect in Shopify

Ads.txt Status Not Found | Google Adsense

Navigation is now Menus under Content.
Go to Content → Menu → URL Redirects.
Click Create New Redirect.
Paste the uploaded file link and add /ads.txt at the end.
Click Submit to finalize the setup.

Completion & Final Checks

Your Google AdSense is now linked to your Shopify store.
Confirm the setup by checking the URL and verifying with Google AdSense.
